Learning Objective: -Today students will learn about the Bill of Rights. Students will be able to trace the roots of the each of the amendments in the Bill of Rights to experiences of early Americans. Warm Up: -What concerns did the antifederalists have about the constitution? Name at least one concern. Assessment: -Students will be assessed based on the completion of their warm ups and on their "Forming a Government: Assessment Study Guide" found in google classroom. This assignment is in line with Common Core State Standards | English Language Arts/Literacy | Grades 6-8 Writing in History/Social Studies, Science and Technical Subjects | CCSS.ELA-Literacy.WHST.6-8.1.a: Introduce claim(s) about a topic or issue, acknowledge and distinguish the claim(s) from alternate or opposing claims, and organize the reasons and evidence logically. |

Students will also participate in a review "kahoot" and gain a unique incite into the contents of the unit assessment. Warm Up: -What was added into the constitution after ratification in order to guarantee more individual rights and liberties? MAKE SURE YOU TURN IN YOUR WARM UPS!!!
